We're bringing the heat from the Sichuan Province. Based on the principles of Mala, cuisine from this region in Southern China is known for its bold, spicy, and aromatic flavors! 

The principle of "Ma," or "to numb" is achieved using Sichuan Peppercorns, which leaves mild tingling sensation on the lips and tongue. And the principle of "La," or "spicy" is achieved using Red Sichuan Peppers, which brings in the heat.
